The actual keyboard specs look the same, and same company, same price, I’d assume it’s a slightly different casing and slightly different software but same hardware.

I bought mine new in July, so I don’t think so? It’s almost the exact specs as mine, only differences is that one has 77 rhythms, mine has 100, but that one has a usb connection where mine does not. I don’t know how much this helped, like I said I’ve only been playing a little over a month, but I bought the $110 target keyboard to get my feet wet, and a month later I’m ready to upgrade already, so take that for what it is I think that’s what wills get me a year or two more into playing. I’m looking at digital pianos in the 4-500 range now. Personally, I’d look at a midi controller if you want to do edm, you can use your computer for a lot of the sound side of it. Combine that with kinda crappy speakers, and a low end sound bank, and high and low notes get lost in the mix real easy. It was fine when I was learning scales and one note poking around, but I can’t play chords and accent a note. It’s key=sound and no light or heavy playing. The first is the worst to me personally because there’s no dynamics in my playing. 2 major things I don’t like are the non touch sensitive keys, and non weighted keys. I just started playing and I picked up a Casio ctk-2500 about a month ago and I loved it for the first few weeks, but I feel I’m already seeing its limitations, and want something better.
